Good tools but my only complaint is the bright green. Drives me nuts. I've been slowly switch to Milwaukee.

Nobody is talking about the potential damage that fast charging can have on a high capacity Li-ion 40V battery in terms of reducing the useful life and battery capacity. Are we not talking about this because Ryobi has somehow mitigated the problem or is it that Ryobi will end up selling more batteries due to the potential that the fast chargers will kill the batteries quicker?

I got a text from Ryobi marketing afew days ago, about these new batteries, but it was the same advertising from earlier this year. I wonder if they will delay releasing the new Edge batteries, because in about 1 more week summer will be almost over as August is days away. When they say "Coming in summer 2024" means summer 2024, not Fall 2024.... Come on Ryobi !!!

I love my green tools I don't care what others say these are great tools.

If it has a lifetime guarantee like Ridgid, I'll buy them. Otherwise, no. I've already had 4 Ryobi batteries die on me, won't recharge. Planned obsolescence.

Nah! I've already had too many of these new batteries die on me with very little use.

All that is is a money scheme. I guarantee my 6ah hp battery can do the same. Tool companies do this over and over. They slap a new name on a tool and say this is better but when tested it not that better

How much better are these with the tools that like to chew threw batteries? For example the brushed belt sander mows throw batteries MUCH faster than I can charge them, will this battery last longer on that tool? I love my belt sander, it just loves to drain the batteries quick!

My tension screw is as snug as I can get it. But the chain is still a little too loose. Edit: Loosening the cover another couple of turns helped.

Going through ryobi rapid repair was a horrible nightmare. They are by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced

About 4 years ago. I was so pleased that I kept adding on. Enjoy reading about the new products. I’m 79yrs old and have 1.3 acres to maintain. Ryobi has made this possible. I have too many favorites to pick just one but the 18 gauge brad nailer comes close.

My dad just bought one of these weed eaters and it is already useless after two months. The head broke and it isn't even made like this guy is presenting. It's not a very good product. What a disappointment

FYI, if you are like me, and it's been a while since you used it, you might have to clear out all of the CRUD on the tightening screw... I thought I didn't have one!

I can’t get my bit to tighten. When I twist the spindle lock the whole piece comes off. I tightened it without the bit in, like she said not too unfortunately. Is there any fix?

310-360 in lbs equals 25-30 ft lbs 350-450 in lbs equal 29-33 ft. lbs there's also Newton vs Meter Lbs. i use torque wrenches a lot, when i don't have one i do it by feel when in doubt search online for conversions

my blade does not go on when I press the start, baterry is full ,safety key is in, grass bag is installed, self proppeler works but blade won't start.

Works great but wish it had better design. Everyone who owns one complains about it leaking oil when stored no matter how you store it which it 100% leaks oil.
